Speaker(s):

The ASP.NET MVC Framework has been an extremely anticipated release from Microsoft. Since it's so new, it is still an evolving piece of software. The MVC pattern it is based on, however, is established in many different frameworks that have already reached maturity. One such framework is Ruby on Rails.

Rails has attracted developers with varying backgrounds for many reasons. In this talk, we will explore those reasons by developing an application using Rails and looking at how it uses the Ruby language to implement the MVC pattern using some unique ideas. We'll end with how you can use a basic knowledge of Rails to make learning ASP.NET MVC even easier.
Food: Food and beverages will be provided at about 5:30pm while the actual discussion will begin at 6pm.
