Indy ALT.NET's Sponsorship Program

The Indy ALT.NET group is proud to announce our sponsorship program! To those of you who we have approached us in the past about this and we have asked for your patience, we apologize but the time has come that we are now prepared to begin our sponsorship programs!

Phase 1 Sponsorship Program (from present until tentatively October 2008)

Phase 1 is a transitionary stage for us until we are better-equipped to actually handle money within the organization. Phase 1 sponsors will be 4-month sponsorships while Phase 2 will be 1-year sponsorships. We reserve the right to postpone the beginning of Phase 2 if we need additional time to put processes in place for handling cash. Should Phase 2 be postponed, all Phase 1 sponsors will have the option to extend their Phase 1 sponsorships until Phase 2 begins.

Because we are unable to handle cash during Phase 1, requirements will consist mostly of merchandise and other incentives that we can redistribute to meeting attendees. Software licenses, approved book titles, and other things are acceptable for this - please contact us for approval of what you would like to provide.

Phase 2 Sponsorship Program (tentatively from October 2008 through September 2009)

The exact details of Phase 2 are not yet finalized. Listed below is the current draft of the sponsorship program. We will finalize these details in the coming months but expect them to be near what is listed here.

We plan to allow sponsors to purchase multiple sponsorship positions if they so choose. For example, if a company wishes to be the only Platinum sponsor, they may purchase both sponsorship positions for $5000 and gain all benefits of both positions (two tables, two slides, etc.)! The possibilities are endless!
